Job Description
As Sales Director you will have responsibility for attaining revenue goals and developing new customer acquisition targets for our Cloud and SOA products in the North American marketplace. This includes bookings resulting from selling Vordel products, upgrades and ancillary services. Reporting directly to the Vordel North American VP Sales, you will be a key member of our growing sales team into the Federal and private sector spaces. The ability to negotiate at all levels of the prospective customer organization and to sustain a fast paced, repeatable sales discipline will be critical to your success in this role.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of successful large enterprise software/hardware sales experience
- US Citizenship required
- Candidate should have carried an annual quota of minimum $1.4M
- Candidate should have documented over quota performance a minimum of two out of the last three years
- Candidate must have a proven track record of driving new business
- Experience of teaming with a presales engineer in sales engagements is a must
- Experience of working with and developing channel partners is desirable
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build pipeline to deliver on quarterly sales targets
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and new customer acquisition targets
- Travel as required to support sales territory and business objectives
- Participate in trade shows and conferences
- Respond to customer Request for information, proposals, and quotes
- Collaborate effectively with sales engineers, professional services, and channel resources to drive the sale process forward
- Collaborate effectively with Sales Development and Marketing to provide feed back on lead generation and targeted programs as they relate to pipeline development
Education Level :
- An undergraduate degree is required. An advanced degree, ideally MBA, is desirable.
